Peace and Assurance

If you haven't already
accepted Christ  in your life.
You can have real lasting peace today
 through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Hope you will consider starting
your four step journey now.

  • 1. God loves you and has a plan for you! The Bible says,

 “God so loved the world that He gave
His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ],
that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish, but have eternall life”
(John 3:16).

                                         Jesus said,

“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”
—a complete life full of purpose
 (John 10:10).

But here’s the problem:

  • 2 Man is sinful and separated from God.
              We have all done, thought or said bad things, which               the Bible  calls “sin.” The Bible says,

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23).

The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God.

(Meaning:
At the end of this life
you chose Heaven or Hell for eternity.
(Romans 6:23).

  • 3. God sent His Son to die for your sins!
                    Jesus died in our place so we could have                                relationship with God and be with Him forever.

               “God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us”
(Romans 5:8).

              But it didn’t end with His death on the cross.
                          He rose again and still lives!

          “Christ died for our sins. …
He was buried. …
He was raised on the third day,
according to the Scriptures”
 (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

                     Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said,

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father, but through Me”
 (John 14:6).

  • 4. Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?
              We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s                    grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus                            Christ.

              All you have to do is believe you are a sinner,
              that Christ died for your  sins, and ask His                               forgiveness.
              Then turn from your sins—that’s called                                   repentance.

              Jesus Christ knows you and loves you.
              What matters is to believe in Him, to accept Him,
             and your change of  attitude in  your heart, and                      your honesty.

To accept Christ as your Savior,
we suggest praying the following prayer

"Dear God,
I know I’m a sinner, and
I ask for your forgiveness.
I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son.
 I believe that He died for my sin and
that you raised Him to life.
I want to trust Him as my Savior
and follow Him as Lord,
from this day forward.
Guide my life and help me to do your will.
I pray this in the name of Jesus.
 Amen

FAITH

F's for FORGIVENESS
Everyone has sinned and needs God's forgiveness.
"All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
God's forgiveness is in Jesus only.
In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. (Ephesians 1:7)

A's for AVAILABLE
God's forgiveness is available for all.
"God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

I's for IMPOSSIBLE
According to the Bible, it is impossible to get to heaven on our own."For by grace are ye saved through faith,and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,not of works, lest any man should boast: (Ephesians 2: 8-9)

So how can a sinful person have eternal life and enter heaven"?

T's for TURN
If you were going down the road and someone asked you to turn, what would he or she be asking you to do? (Change direction.) Turn means "repent". Turn away from sin and self.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13: 3)
Turn to Jesus alone as your Savior and Lord.
 I am the way, the truth and the life no man
cometh unto the Father, but by me: (John 14:6)

What happens if a person is willing
to repent of their sins and confess Christ?

H's for HEAVEN
Heaven is a place where we will live with God forever. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and  receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also."
(John 14: 3)
Eternal life begins now with Jesus. "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10)

H also can stand for HOW
How can a person have God's forgiveness, eternal life, and heaven? By trusting in Jesus as Savior and Lord.  Take the step of faith today.
Then tell a Christian friend or pastor about the important step you have taken. Grow in your faith and enjoy new friends in Christ by becoming part of His church and attending Bible study class a church has just for you.

Just As I Am
(words to song playing)

   1.   Just as I am, without one plea,
        But that Thy blood was shed for me,
        And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee,
       O Lamb of God, I come! I come!

  2  Just as I am, and waiting not
     To rid my soul of one dark blot;
     To Thee whose blood
      can cleanse each spot,
     O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

  3   Just as I am, though tossed about
      With many a conflict, many a doubt;
     Fightings within, and fears without,
     O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

  4   Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
      Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
      Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
     O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

 5   Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
     Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
     Because Thy promise I believe,
    O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

  6  Just as I am, Thy love unknown
     Has broken every barrier down;
     Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
     O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
